Se anuncia un DVD con el concierto de homenaje a Jon Lord.

Un grupo de amigos del fallecido teclista de Deep Purple, John Lord, le rindió homenaje con un concierto en el Royal Albert Hall de Londres, el 4 de abril, coincidiendo con el 45 aniversario de su “Concerto for Group and Orchestra”.

El evento fue coordinado por Jacky Pace, la mujer del batería de Deep Purple, Ian Pace, y contó con la participación de Rick Wakeman, Bruce Dickinson, Glenn Hughes, Paul Weller y miembros de Deep Purple, entre otros.

Todos ellos estuvieron acompañados de una orquesta dirigida por Paul Mann. “Celebrating Jon Lord at the Royal Albert Hall” será publicado el 26 de septiembre en forma de DVD, Blu-ray y CD.
