Tras el primer disco, aparecido en 2010, Robert Plant ha grado un nuevo álbum con su Band of Joy, según ha revelado en una entrevista unos de los miembros de la banda, el guitarrista y productor Buddy Miller. Plant estuvo trabajando en casa de Miller, en Nashville, el año pasado, y, junto al batería Marco Giovino grabaron varias canciones.
“No era nuestra intención, pero escribimos material para un disco y yo dije: ‘Mientras hacemos esto, ¿por qué no ponemos unos micrófonos y lo documentamos’, porque eso es mejor que si tratamos de recordarlo o grabarlo en tu teléfono’. Y sonaba tan bien que creo que, ya sabes, accidentalmente hicimos un disco”, explica Miller.
Pendiente de los últimos retoques, el disco no será publicado hasta 2013. A diferencia del primer álbum de Band Of Joy, que “podía ser pastoral, este es mucho más tribal, es mucho más urgente y tribal”, añade Miller.
En la web de Robert Plant, en el listado de próximos conciertos, aparece uno programado para el 24 de noviembre en “Balearic Islands, ES @ Entertainment Forum”. Pero no hemos localizado el lugar de las Islas Baleares en que tendrá lugar. ¿Alguien sabe algo…?
