PHIL COLLINS LANZARÁ “PLAYS WELL WITH OTHERS”, BOX SET DE SUS COLABORACIONES COMO BATERISTA.

La caja de 4 CDs estará disponible desde el 28 de septiembre.

Esta semana, Phil Collins anunció el lanzamiento de una caja de cuatro CDs llamada “Plays Well With Others”.

En el box set, el músico recopila grabaciones en estudio y en vivo acompañando en la batería a otros músicos, realizadas a lo largo de toda su carrera.

El corte más antiguo se remonta a los años sesenta con los psicodélicos Flaming Youth, e incluye material con Brian Eno, John Cale, Robert Fripp, Eric Clapton, Peter Gabriel, Robert Plant, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Bee Gees y otros.

“Algunos dirían que he vivido una vida encantadora. He hecho lo que he querido durante la mayor parte de ella, y me han pagado bien por hacer algo que hubiera hecho a cambio de nada. Tocar la batería. Durante este tiempo he tocado con la mayoría de mis héroes, la mayoría se han convertido en amigos cercanos. En estos cuatro CD encontrarás una simple mezcla de esos momentos. Agradezco a los artistas por permitirme armar este CD, ¡no es una tarea fácil!”, cuenta Collins en un comunicado.
